One person dead following motorcycle crash in Texas

TEXAS — A 21-year-old man was found dead Tuesday morning following a motorcycle crash along Dub Wright Boulevard, according to police.

Officers were dispatched around 7:30 a.m. on March 3 to the 3100 block of Dub Wright Boulevard after a passerby reported seeing a motorcycle lying in a field near the roadway.

When officers arrived, they located a 2026 Suzuki GSX in a field just west of the road. Investigators said the rider had been traveling north on the roadway when the crash occurred.

The rider, identified as Devinn Wall of California, was found a short distance away from the motorcycle in the same field and appeared to be deceased. A justice of the peace responded to the scene and pronounced Wall dead.

Based on the condition of the body, investigators believe Wall may have been in the field for some time before he was discovered.

Officials said Wall was a member of Team Dyess, and the organization has been notified.

Police reported that Wall was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. Speed is believed to have been a contributing factor, and investigators do not believe any other vehicles were involved.

The crash remains under investigation.
