One person dead following motorcycle crash in Tennessee

TENNESSEE — A motorcyclist died early Sunday morning after a crash on East Main Street in Gallatin, authorities said.

The Gallatin Police Department reported that the crash occurred at approximately 2:40 a.m. on Aug. 17 in the 100 block of East Main Street.

Preliminary investigations indicate the motorcyclist was traveling westbound when they lost control, struck a curb, and were thrown from the bike. No other vehicles were involved in the crash.

The identity of the motorcyclist has not been released. Additional details were not immediately available.
