One person dead following motorcycle crash in Tennessee

TENNESSEE — A motorcyclist was killed Saturday afternoon in a crash in the Stoney Creek area of Carter County, according to the Tennessee Highway Patrol.

The crash happened around 1:48 p.m. on TN-91 when a BMW R90 motorcycle traveling northbound collided with a Chevy Cobalt that pulled out of a driveway into its path. The motorcycle struck the front left side of the sedan.

THP identified the motorcyclist as Glenn Eugene Dinicola, 67, of Tennessee. He was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.

The driver of the Chevy, a 54-year-old man from Minnesota, was not injured. Charges are pending against him.
