TENNESSEE — A motorcyclist was killed Tuesday morning in a crash at the intersection of Broadway and Rose Drive, according to the Knoxville Police Department.
Investigators said the motorcyclist was attempting to cross all four lanes of Broadway from Old Broadway and enter a shopping center on Tazewell Pike when the motorcycle collided with the passenger side of a vehicle.
The impact pushed the vehicle into a building in the shopping center.
The driver of the vehicle was transported to a hospital for treatment. No other injuries were reported.
The identity of the motorcyclist has not been released.
KPD crash reconstructionists responded to the scene, and the investigation is ongoing.
