SOUTH CAROLINA — A motorcyclist was killed Friday night in a crash involving an SUV in Greenville County, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
Troopers said the collision happened around 8:10 p.m. on SC-183 near Cedar Lane Road.
According to investigators, the motorcycle was traveling south on Highway 183 when an SUV turning left into a private driveway struck the side of the motorcycle.
The driver of the SUV was not injured. The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene, authorities said.
The Greenville County Coroner’s Office has not yet released the name of the victim.
The crash remains under investigation by the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
