SOUTH CAROLINA — A motorcyclist died Saturday night following a crash on Major Evans Road, authorities said.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol reported that the crash occurred just before 9 p.m. near JB Denton Road. Troopers said the driver was traveling east on Major Evans Road when they went off the road to the right, overcorrected back onto the roadway, and crashed.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
