PENNSYLVANIA — One person is dead and another is seriously injured following a motorcycle crash Saturday afternoon in Washington Township, according to Pennsylvania State Police.
Troopers from the Butler barracks responded to the scene around 1:05 p.m. on State Route 38 (Oneida Valley Road), where a crash involving a motorcycle had occurred.
Police said one individual was pronounced dead at the scene. A second person sustained severe injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. Their condition has not been released.
As of Saturday afternoon, SR 38 was closed between Annisville Road and Old Brick Road while investigators processed the scene.
The crash remains under investigation.
