
PENNSYLVANIA — One person is dead following a vehicle crash involving a motorcycle in Cumberland County over the weekend, according to Pennsylvania State Police.
The crash occurred around 8:24 p.m. on April 11 at the intersection of Williams Grove Road and Park Place in Monroe Township.
State Police said a Nissan was traveling eastbound on Park Place and stopped at a stop sign before attempting to make a left turn onto Williams Grove Road. At the same time, a Honda motorcycle was traveling southbound on Williams Grove Road toward the intersection.
Authorities said the Nissan pulled out in front of the motorcycle, which then struck the front driver’s side of the vehicle.
The motorcyclist sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. Their identity has not been released.
Police said everyone inside the Nissan was wearing a seatbelt, and the motorcyclist was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
The incident remains under investigation.
