One person dead following motorcycle crash in Ohio

OHIO — A 25-year-old man was killed in a motorcycle crash late Saturday night in Dayton, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

Troopers from the OSHP Xenia Post responded to the scene around 11:39 p.m. after receiving reports of a crash on US 35 Westbound.

Investigators say Nathan Young, 25, of Xenia, was riding a Yamaha motorcycle at a high rate of speed when he lost control and struck a barrier wall.

Young was ejected from the motorcycle and pronounced dead at the scene.

Troopers confirmed that Young was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
