OHIO — A motorcyclist was killed in a two-vehicle crash early Saturday morning on Interstate 75, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
Troopers responded to the scene near milepost 31 around 1:39 a.m.
The initial investigation revealed that 32-year-old Samual Ousley of Middletown was riding a 2020 Kawasaki ZX-10R motorcycle southbound when he struck the rear of a 2011 Honda CR-V.
The SUV was being driven by 24-year-old Gabriel Obregon of South Lebanon, who was also traveling south on I-75.
Following the collision, Ousley was ejected from his motorcycle and pronounced dead at the scene.
Obregon’s vehicle veered off the left side of the highway and struck a concrete median barrier. He sustained minor injuries.
Authorities have not yet determined whether drugs, alcohol, or speed were contributing factors. The crash remains under investigation.
