OHIO — A 26-year-old man from Green has died following a motorcycle crash Tuesday evening in Summit County, according to authorities.
The Summit County Sheriff’s Office said the crash occurred around 7:10 p.m. on South Arlington Road.
Investigators reported that a northbound 2021 Ford Explorer was attempting to turn left into an apartment complex when it was struck by a southbound 2007 Yamaha motorcycle.
According to officials, the motorcycle hit the passenger side of the SUV, and the rider was ejected from the motorcycle.
The man was transported to a hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
Authorities said the driver of the Ford Explorer did not suffer serious injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
