
OHIO — A fatal crash involving a motorcycle and a car shut down part of Route 82 in Brookfield Sunday evening.
Authorities say the crash occurred around 6:15 p.m. at the intersection of Route 82 and Addison Road. Emergency crews responded after receiving reports that a car and a motorcycle had collided.
Officials at the scene confirmed that the motorcycle driver died as a result of the crash. Two people were transported to a hospital following the collision. Their conditions have not been released.
Brookfield’s fire chief is asking drivers to avoid the area unless travel through the intersection is necessary while emergency crews continue to work at the scene.
The Hubbard Fire Department, Brookfield Police Department and the Ohio State Highway Patrol all responded to the crash. Authorities are continuing to investigate the cause of the collision.
