OHIO — A 23-year-old man died following a motorcycle crash late Thursday night in Washington Township, according to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies responded to the scene just after 10:30 p.m. on Paragon Road, just north of Miamisburg-Centerville Road (SR-725), after receiving reports of a collision involving a motorcycle and a truck.

When deputies arrived, they found the motorcyclist unresponsive. He was transported to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead a short time later.

Investigators determined that the man was riding a Kawasaki motorcycle northbound on Paragon Road when he collided with a 2005 GMC Sierra driven by a 53-year-old man. The truck driver was not injured.

The sheriff’s office said speed is believed to have been a factor in the crash.

The incident remains under investigation.
