One person dead following motorcycle crash in Ohio

OHIO — The Ohio State Highway Patrol (OSHP) is investigating a fatal motorcycle crash that occurred Tuesday evening on state Route 5.

According to OSHP, David Goberish was traveling eastbound when he lost control, went off the road, and struck the median cable barrier. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Emergency responders, including OSHP, Warren police, Champion police, fire, and EMS, arrived at the scene around 7:30 p.m.

State Route 5 was temporarily closed between U.S. 422 and Mahoning Avenue but has since reopened.

Investigators believe speed was a factor in the crash. The incident remains under investigation.
