OHIO — A 44-year-old man was killed in a motorcycle crash early Saturday morning on State Route 28 in Miami Township, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
Troopers from the Batavia Post responded to the scene around 2 a.m. near the intersection of SR-28 and Business 28.
Investigators say the motorcyclist, identified as Christopher McGrath, was traveling southwest when he failed to negotiate a curve. The motorcycle overturned in the roadway.
McGrath was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash but suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol was assisted by the Miami Township Police Department, Miami Township Fire and EMS, Milford Police Department, and the Clermont County Coroner’s Office.
The crash remains under investigation.
