One person dead following motorcycle crash in Ohio

OHIO — A 71-year-old man died Saturday night after crashing his motorcycle in Clark County.

According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the crash happened around 9:25 p.m. on State Route 41 near Spence Road.

Troopers said John Hawk, Sr. was driving a Harley-Davidson Tri Glide 3-wheeled motorcycle when he went off the right side of the road, struck a house, and overturned.

Hawk was flown by CareFlight to Miami Valley Hospital, where he later died from his injuries.

No one was inside the house at the time of the crash. Part of State Route 41 was closed for over an hour but has since reopened.

The crash remains under investigation.
