MICHIGAN — A 40-year-old Muskegon man was killed Wednesday in a crash involving a motorcycle and a pickup truck on M-37 Highway in Newaygo County, according to the Michigan State Police.
Troopers said the crash happened near 22 Mile Road in Ashland Township when the motorcyclist struck a pickup truck that was turning onto 22 Mile from M-37. The truck was driven by a 35-year-old man from Grand Rapids.
The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. No other injuries were reported.
“The investigation into this crash is ongoing,” said F/Lt. Mike Shaw. “It doesn’t appear that drugs or alcohol are a factor. The investigation is pending medical examiner reports and further crash analysis.”
