LOUISIANA — One person is dead and another is seriously injured following a motorcycle crash early Monday morning in Bossier Parish.
According to Louisiana State Police, the crash occurred around 1:00 a.m. on Sligo Road. Investigators said the motorcycle, driven by 43-year-old Preston Workman of Haughton, crossed the centerline, struck an uneven հատված of the roadway shoulder, and overturned.
Workman was pronounced dead at the scene.
A passenger on the motorcycle sustained serious injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
Authorities said both individuals were wearing DOT-approved helmets at the time of the crash.
A standard toxicology report was conducted, and the crash remains under investigation.
