One person dead following motorcycle crash in Kentucky

KENTUCKY — At least one person was killed Monday morning in a crash involving a motorcycle in Ashland, according to local police.

The crash occurred just before 10 a.m. in the 2300 block of Winchester Avenue.

The Ashland Police Department responded to the scene and confirmed that the road would remain closed for several hours as the investigation continues.

The identity of the person killed has not yet been released.

Authorities have not provided further details about the cause of the crash.
