KENTUCKY — A man was killed early Sunday morning after crashing his motorcycle in Louisville, according to police.
Aaron Ellis, a spokesperson for Louisville Metro Police, said officers responded around 3:20 a.m. to a crash on 3rd Street Road near Windsor Park Drive.
Investigators said the motorcyclist was traveling south on 3rd Street Road when he entered the intersection at Windsor Park Drive and, for unknown reasons, failed to negotiate a right-hand curve. The motorcycle struck a guardrail, ejecting the rider.
He was taken to UofL Hospital, where he later died.
Police said no other vehicles were involved in the crash. The investigation is ongoing.
