FLORIDA — A motorcyclist died Monday morning after a four-vehicle crash on US-1 in Melbourne, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Troopers said the crash occurred around 7:30 a.m. just north of Post Road. The motorcyclist was taken to a hospital, where they were later pronounced dead.
No other injuries have been reported.
Northbound lanes of US-1 remain blocked in the area, and drivers are being detoured onto Wickham Road.
Southbound traffic is not affected as the investigation continues.
