FLORIDA — A motorcyclist was killed in a crash Sunday morning involving a pickup truck at the intersection of Pleasant Hill Road and Kinglet Boulevard, according to authorities.
The collision occurred around 10:58 a.m. and involved a Nissan Titan and a Ducati motorcycle.
Florida Highway Patrol reports that the Nissan was traveling north on Pleasant Hill Road and attempting to make a left turn when it entered the path of the southbound motorcycle.
The front of the Ducati struck the right side of the Nissan during the crash. The motorcyclist was transported to Osceola Regional Hospital, where they were pronounced dead. The driver of the Nissan was taken to Poinciana Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
Southbound lanes of Pleasant Hill Road were blocked as troopers continued their investigation.
