FLORIDA — A woman was killed early Thursday morning in a motorcycle crash on Interstate 10 in Jackson County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Troopers said the crash occurred around 3:38 a.m. on the eastbound lanes of Interstate 10 near mile marker 159.5. The victim, a 45-year-old woman, was riding a motorcycle at the time of the crash.
Officials said Jackson County EMS responded to the scene and pronounced the woman dead.
Details about the cause of the crash were not immediately released. The incident remains under investigation by the Florida Highway Patrol.
