ALABAMA — A motorcyclist was killed Monday morning following a crash involving a dump truck near Winfield, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.
Authorities identified the victim as Joshua Colvett, 41, of Athens.
ALEA officials said the crash occurred on Interstate 22. Details about how the collision happened were not immediately released, but investigators said Colvett’s motorcycle and a dump truck collided.
Colvett was pronounced dead at the scene.
No additional information about the driver of the dump truck or potential injuries was immediately available.
