ALABAMA — A 54-year-old man from Athens died following a motorcycle crash late Monday night, according to the Limestone County Coroner.
Coroner Mike West said the single-vehicle crash occurred around 10:22 p.m. on Sandlin Road, just east of Elkmont.
Investigators said the rider, identified as Brian Hunt, lost control of the motorcycle while navigating a curve, left the roadway and crashed.
Hunt was pronounced dead at the scene.
No additional details have been released as authorities continue to investigate the crash.
