KENTUCKY — A 67-year-old man was killed in a hunting accident Saturday night in Waynesburg, according to the Lincoln County coroner.
Officials said Daniel Wilson was hunting on a relative’s property when he was shot by a teenager who reportedly saw movement and fired a gun.
Wilson was taken to Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville, where he was pronounced dead.
Investigators are working to determine the circumstances surrounding the shooting, including whether the teenager was also hunting or involved in another activity at the time.
The incident remains under investigation.
