TEXAS — A pedestrian was killed early Tuesday morning in a hit-and-run crash in north Dallas, according to the Dallas Police Department.
Police said officers responded around 12:27 a.m. to the eastbound lanes of the Interstate 635 service road near U.S. 75.
Investigators said an unknown vehicle was traveling eastbound in the 8100 block of LBJ Service Road when it struck a male pedestrian.
Authorities said the driver did not stop to render aid and fled the scene.
Dallas Fire-Rescue responded, but the pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
The victim’s identity has not been released. The investigation remains ongoing.
