
OHIO — A Warsaw man was killed in a head-on crash Friday morning near the River View Schools campus, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred around 6:14 a.m. on March 27 along U.S. Route 36 near milepost 12. The intersection of U.S. 36 and Ohio 60 was closed for several hours following the collision.
Troopers said Steven R. Husk Jr., 41, of Warsaw, was driving westbound in a 2005 Saturn when his vehicle crossed left of center and struck an oncoming 2016 Chevrolet Silverado.
The Silverado, driven by Charles W. Litten, 76, of Warsaw, traveled off the right side of the roadway following the crash. Litten was transported to Coshocton Genesis Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
Husk was pronounced dead at the scene.
Agencies assisting at the scene included the Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office, Coshocton County Emergency Medical Services, the Ohio Department of Transportation and Prince’s Wrecker Service.
The crash remains under investigation.
