
SOUTH CAROLINA — A teenage girl has died after being pulled from a hotel pool in Myrtle Beach, according to authorities.
The Horry County Coroner’s Office said the 14-year-old, identified as Nevaeh Neely, died April 2 at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center.
Officials said Neely had been pulled from a pool at the Sandbar Hotel and was unable to swim.
Authorities said her family was visiting the area from Salisbury.
The Myrtle Beach Police Department is investigating the incident.
No additional details have been released.
