OHIO — A four-year-old boy drowned at Atwood Lake on Saturday morning, and his father remains missing following a crash involving a golf cart.
Rangers responded around 10:30 a.m. after an Amish woman driving a golf cart with three of her children crashed into the lake. Two older children, ages 15 and 18, managed to get out of the water safely.
After an eight-hour search, rescuers recovered the four-year-old boy from the lake. Authorities say the crash appeared intentional, and the woman is currently hospitalized with mental health concerns.
The family, from Holmes County, had been visiting Atwood Lake for the weekend.
