TENNESSEE — Madison police are investigating after a woman was shot and killed Monday morning.
Authorities said the victim drove herself to the Madison Police Department on Myatt Drive around 5:45 a.m., where she flagged down an officer after being shot on nearby Scalf Drive. She was transported to a local hospital, where she later died from her injuries.
Investigators are looking into whether the shooting was related to a domestic incident. Police went to the scene on Scalf Drive and took a woman into custody for questioning.
The investigation remains ongoing, and no further details have been released.
