GEORGIA — An 86-year-old woman died Wednesday after being attacked by two dogs outside her home, the Appling County Sheriff’s Office (ACSO) confirmed.
Emergency personnel were dispatched to the residence, where they found Maria D. Nunez deceased. An investigation determined that she sustained multiple injuries from the attack.
Authorities have identified and secured the dogs involved.
The ACSO said the investigation is ongoing.
