KENTUCKY — A man is dead after a crash involving a dirt bike and a vehicle late Friday evening in south Louisville.
According to John Bradley, a spokesman for the Louisville Metro Police Department, officers responded to the scene around 10:40 p.m. near the intersection of Taylor Boulevard and West Ashland Avenue.
Police said the man was riding a “non-street legal” dirt bike when he collided with a vehicle. He was transported to UofL Hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and was not injured. Investigators have not yet determined how the crash occurred.
While officers were managing the scene, another crash occurred nearby involving two vehicles.
No injuries were reported in that incident.
