PENNSYLVANIA — A woman was killed in an ATV crash Friday evening in Bradford County after the vehicle struck a deer.
According to state police, 23-year-old Alyssa Boyd of Bloomsburg was riding as a passenger on an ATV driven by 24-year-old Julian Crushshon-Fleming of Elysburg.
The crash occurred on Painter Lick Lane in Columbia Township, just north of Troy, when a deer suddenly entered the roadway.
Neither Boyd nor Crushshon-Fleming was wearing safety equipment at the time of the crash, police said.
Boyd was pronounced dead at the scene. Crushshon-Fleming was taken to Guthrie Troy Community Hospital for treatment.
