One person dead following ATV crash in Ohio

OHIO — A 14-year-old boy has died following an ATV crash in Vinton, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

The crash occurred just before 6 p.m. Thursday near the intersection of Rowlesville Road and Morgan Center Road.

Troopers say Lucas Clonch, of Vinton, was traveling south on Rowlesville Road when he lost control of the ATV, went off the road, struck an embankment, and overturned.

Clonch was transported to a hospital, where he later died from his injuries.

The roadway was closed for several hours but has since reopened. The crash remains under investigation.
