FLORIDA — Law enforcement officials are investigating a deadly ATV crash in Hawthorne that occurred early Wednesday morning.
Putnam County Sheriff’s deputies reported that the crash happened at the intersection of State Road 20 and Lake Shore Drive.
According to authorities, two people were riding the ATV when it flipped over. One passenger died at the scene, while the other was transported to a nearby trauma hospital with injuries.
The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
