PENNSYLVANIA — A fatal crash in Lancaster County claimed one life and left another person injured Tuesday night.
The incident occurred around 7:30 p.m. along Twin County Road at the intersection with Ash Road in Caernarvon Township.
According to Lancaster County dispatchers, emergency crews arrived to find a single-vehicle crash.
Pennsylvania State Police reported that the driver of the vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene.
A passenger in the car was treated by first responders before being transported to a nearby hospital. The extent of the passenger’s injuries has not been released.
Investigators believe speed was a contributing factor in the crash.
The Caernarvon Fire Company assisted at the scene as authorities worked to secure the area and begin their investigation.
