OHIO — Authorities in Ohio are investigating a fatal crash that occurred Sunday afternoon on Westbourne Drive.
According to Green Township police, 79-year-old Nicholas Hahn of Cleves was a passenger in a vehicle traveling southwest when the driver lost control, veering off the right side of the road and striking a tree.
The crash happened at approximately 12:29 p.m. Hahn was transported to Mercy West Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The driver was taken to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center for treatment.
Police have ruled out alcohol and drugs as factors in the crash but are investigating whether a medical emergency or distracted driving may have played a role.
