OHIO — A 22-year-old Eaton man was killed and a 53-year-old Germantown man was injured in a two-vehicle crash Wednesday night south of Eaton, according to the Preble County Sheriff’s Office.
The crash occurred just before 9 p.m. on state Route 122 near Yost Road.
Spencer Hunt, 22, of Eaton, was identified as the driver killed in the crash.
A preliminary investigation indicates Hunt’s car crossed the centerline and struck a Jeep driven by Brian Rowe, 53, of Germantown, Sheriff Mike Simpson said.
Hunt was pronounced dead at the scene. Rowe was taken by ambulance to Miami Valley Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Simpson said alcohol is being investigated as a possible factor in the crash.
State Route 122 was closed for about four hours during the investigation.
