MICHIGAN — A single-vehicle crash late Friday night left one man dead and another seriously injured, according to the Clinton County Sheriff’s Office.
The crash occurred around 11:55 p.m. on Wright Road near Kinley Road.
Deputies said a 28-year-old man from Perrinton was driving northbound when he veered off the road and struck a tree, trapping both himself and his passenger inside the vehicle.
Emergency responders pronounced the passenger, a 47-year-old man from Maple Rapids, dead at the scene.
The driver was transported to a local hospital in serious condition.
Michigan State Police, the Dallas Township Fire Department, Clinton Area Ambulance, and Clinton County Central Dispatch assisted at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation.
