FLORIDA — A 96-year-old Pensacola man died Thursday morning following a two-vehicle crash on U.S. Highway 29 near Hood Drive.
According to a release from the Florida Highway Patrol, the man was driving south in the left turn lane when he failed to yield the right-of-way and turned left in front of an oncoming car.
The second vehicle, driven by a 33-year-old woman, struck his car.
Both drivers were taken to the hospital. The man later died from his injuries.
The woman sustained serious injuries, according to officials.
The crash remains under investigation.
