PENNSYLVANIA — One person was killed and another critically injured in a shooting Friday night, according to West York Police.
The incident occurred around 8:15 p.m. at 50 South Highland Avenue. Police said both victims, two people in their early twenties, were shot. One later died, while the other was hospitalized with severe injuries and is now reported to be stable.
Police believe the shooting was not random and that the suspect and victims knew each other. Authorities said there is no ongoing danger to the public.
The suspect remains at large, and an investigation is underway. The identity of the deceased victim has not been released.
