OHIO — The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal crash that claimed the life of an Adena man Thursday night in Belmont County.
Troopers said the crash occurred at approximately 9:12 p.m. on Oct. 2 along U.S. 250 near milepost 3 in Colerain Township.
According to investigators, Frank M. Kutav, 83, was driving a 2017 Jeep Compass westbound when the vehicle veered off the left side of the roadway and struck a house.
Kutav was transported to Wheeling Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Responding agencies included the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the Belmont County Sheriff’s Office, Colerain Township Fire and EMS, and T&K Towing.
Authorities said the crash remains under investigation.
