ARIZONA — A man is dead after crashing his vehicle into a tree in Avondale on Friday, according to police.
The crash occurred near Santa Fe Trail and Windsor Avenue. Investigators said the driver first struck another vehicle before hitting a tree.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
One person inside the other vehicle suffered minor injuries, police said.
Santa Fe Trail is closed between Windsor Road and Virginia Avenue as officers continue to investigate the cause of the crash.
