One person dead after vehicle crashes into house in Ohio

OHIO — A driver was killed Friday morning after a truck backed into a house in a Kettering neighborhood, according to local authorities.

Kettering Police and medics were dispatched to the 4200 block of Marshall Road just before 6:50 a.m. following reports of a vehicle crashing into a building.

Responders confirmed that the driver of the truck died at the scene. No other injuries were reported.

Police say the truck had backed into the home. Part of Marshall Road has been closed while investigators conduct an accident reconstruction.

Multiple emergency units remained on the scene throughout the morning. The identity of the driver has not yet been released.
