One person dead after tree falls on Ohio home

OHIO — A 21-year-old man was killed Tuesday afternoon when a tree fell on a home in Barberton.

Emergency crews were called to the scene near Second Street and Wooster Road between 12:30 and 1 p.m., according to officials.

The Summit County Medical Examiner’s Office identified the victim as Noah Hall of Barberton.

Firefighters arriving on scene were unable to enter the home due to heavy debris.

A tree removal service and a technical rescue team were called in to assist.

No other information has been released at this time.
