OHIO — A 57-year-old woman was killed in a single-vehicle crash Wednesday afternoon on State Route 93, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred shortly before 2:30 p.m. near milepost 13 when Deborah A. Davis, of Dundee, reportedly pulled out of a private driveway and onto the roadway.
Troopers said Davis was driving a 2006 Honda CR-V when the vehicle veered off the right side of the road and struck a guardrail.
Davis was transported to Cleveland Clinic Mercy Hospital, where she was later pronounced dead.
Authorities stated that alcohol is not suspected to have played a role in the crash, and Davis was wearing her seatbelt at the time.
The cause of the incident remains under investigation.
No other vehicles were involved in the crash.
