One person dead after crashing into house in Indiana

INDIANA — A man died after an SUV crashed into a house early Sunday morning on the north side of Indianapolis, according to police.

The crash was reported just after 4:15 a.m. in the 7800 block of Delbrook Drive, in the Holiday housing addition southwest of West 79th Street and Ditch Road.

Police said the driver of the SUV was taken to a hospital in critical condition, where he later died. His identity has not yet been released.

No other vehicles were involved in the crash.

The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department’s fatal crash investigation team is working to determine what caused the crash.
