TENNESSEE — Authorities are investigating a fatal collision involving a pedestrian that occurred Friday evening in Lewisburg.
According to the Lewisburg Police Department, the crash happened along Highway 50 near the 7-Eleven.
Officials shared information about the incident shortly before 6:30 p.m. on June 6 and urged drivers to avoid the area as emergency crews and investigators responded.
Police confirmed that the crash resulted in one fatality. However, no additional details have been released about the victim or the circumstances leading up to the incident.
The Lewisburg Police Department is working with the Tennessee Highway Patrol to determine the cause of the crash.
