SOUTH CAROLINA — A 44-year-old Greenwood woman died Sunday night after being struck by a vehicle, the South Carolina Highway Patrol reported.
Troopers said the crash occurred around 9 p.m. on the Highway 25 Bypass near U.S. 25 South. A southbound pickup truck hit the woman, who was in the roadway.
The coroner identified the victim as Aneeka Loraine Childs. She died at the hospital from blunt-force trauma.
